Marc D. Garden, M.D. is a Physician and Surgeon Board Certified in Ophthalmology. He has been a Partner at Philadelphia Eye Associates since 1984, specializing in comprehensive Ophthalmology. His particular interests include cataract surgery, diabetic eye disease and glaucoma. He is on the staff of the Wills Eye Institute, where he is on the Board Directors of the Cataract and Primary Eye Care Service. He is also an Ophthalmic Surgeon at Northeastern Hospital, a division of Temple University Hospital.
Dr. Garden received a B.A. degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received an M.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and completed his Ophthalmology Residency at Wills Eye Hospital.
Dr. Garden sees patients in Philadelphia at the Allegheny Avenue and South Broad Street offices, and in New Jersey at the Willingboro office.
Dr. Garden has had a life long interest in vision and art, and when he has time, enjoys painting. He has had paintings accepted in local juried art exhibits.
